Requirements

Candidates must have over 10 years of progressive experience in international business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level capacity, and 5 years of experience managing sales teams. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree or MBA is strongly preferred. Expertise in commercial security solutions, including access control, alarm systems, and video surveillance, is essential. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills are necessary, along with proven success in driving revenue growth and expanding channel ecosystems across multi-national regions. Experience developing and executing international marketing strategies and sales programs, cross-functional leadership, and organizational effectiveness are also required. Fluency in English is mandatory, and frequent travel (50-75%) within the region and internationally is expected. Knowledge in security, intrusion, AI, and video surveillance is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Director - International Business Development will define and execute go-to-market strategies for LATAM, lead and mentor a business development team, and identify, negotiate, and secure high-value partnerships. They will build and maintain executive-level relationships with key accounts, oversee the partner lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver regional solutions. Responsibilities include setting and monitoring regional revenue and growth targets, leading participation in industry events, and developing regional marketing strategies and sales enablement initiatives. The role also involves staying informed about competitive dynamics and market trends, serving as an executive escalation point for complex deals, and managing departmental budgets and resources.
