Requirements

Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in technology alliances, business development, or strategic partnerships within enterprise software, with a preference for cybersecurity or threat intelligence. Proven success in managing partnerships with major tech companies like Splunk and Palo Alto Networks is essential. A deep understanding of API integrations, SIEM/SOAR platforms, cloud security, and threat detection technologies is required, along with strong business acumen and technical fluency. Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence are necessary, as is experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or technical degree is a plus. Preferred experience includes working with channel programs, MSSPs, or OEM partnerships, and a history of launching co-branded solutions or integrations on platforms like Splunkbase or Cortex XSOAR Marketplace.

Responsibilities

The Director of Technology Alliances will develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy for Splunk and Palo Alto Networks, aligning with Dataminr’s business goals. They will enhance joint value propositions, sales plays, and enablement content to drive pipeline and revenue growth with partner sales and marketing teams. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams to manage and improve integrations with Splunk and Palo Alto platforms, and building strong relationships with executives and teams at partner companies and internally. The role also involves coordinating training programs, webinars, and joint field events for enablement, defining KPIs to track partnership effectiveness and ROI, and reporting performance to leadership. Additionally, the director will stay informed about competitive developments and market trends in the cybersecurity and threat intelligence ecosystems.
