Position Overview

Join Dataminr as our Director of Technology Alliances and help shape the future of real-time threat intelligence. In this high-impact role, you'll lead and grow our strategic partnerships with two of the most influential players in cybersecurity—Splunk and Palo Alto Networks. You'll be at the forefront of aligning cutting-edge AI-driven alerting with world-class security ecosystems, creating joint solutions that keep enterprises and critical infrastructure safer, faster.

  • Regenerative AI: Our AI technology, ReGenAI, is a new form of generative AI that automatically regenerates real-time Live Event Briefs as events unfold.
  • Agentic AI: We recently launched our Agentic AI capability, what we’re calling our Intel Agents, that autonomously generates critical context for our clients on real-time events, threats, and risks allowing them to see the clearest, most accurate view of what’s happening on the ground.
  • Multimodal AI: Our platform detects events from many different types of data (images, video, sensor data, audio, and text in over 150 languages).

Responsibilities

  • Alliance Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy for Splunk and Palo Alto that aligns with Dataminr’s business goals and growth initiatives.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership: Enhance joint value propositions, sales plays, and enablement content to drive pipeline and revenue growth with sales and marketing teams across organizations.
  • Product & Integration Management: Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to manage and enhance integrations with Splunk and Palo Alto platforms.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Build strong relationships with senior executives, partner managers, and product teams at Splunk, Palo Alto, and internally across Dataminr.
  • Field Enablement & Training: Coordinate training programs, webinars, and joint field events to enable sales and customer success teams on joint solutions.
  • Performance Measurement: Define KPIs and track performance metrics to evaluate partnership effectiveness and ROI; report regularly to leadership.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of competitive developments and market trends in the cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and real-time cyber threat intelligence ecosystems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology alliances, business development, or strategic partnerships within enterprise software, preferably in cybersecurity or threat intelligence.
  • Proven success managing partnerships with large tech companies such as Splunk and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Deep understanding of API integrations, SIEM/SOAR platforms, cloud security, and threat detection technologies.
  • Strong business acumen combined with technical fluency.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or technical degree a plus.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with channel programs, MSSPs, or OEM partnerships.
  • History of launching co-branded solutions or integrations on Splunkbase, Cortex XSOAR Marketplace, or similar platforms.
