Candidates need 10+ years of professional experience in aerospace/defense, 2+ years in Business Development, technical understanding of satellites and space missions, experience with international space captures and proposals, and demonstrated success capturing space business within the DoD/IC. Soft skills include ability to build and execute plans with minimal oversight, continuous learning, initiative, emotional intelligence, and excellent communication skills.
You will report to the Vice President of Growth and collaborate with Engineering, Technology, legal, and finance departments, as well as other BD personnel and engineering on opportunities.
A strong candidate has 10+ years in aerospace/defense including 2+ years in BD, proven success in capturing international space business and DoD/IC contracts, technical knowledge of satellites, and soft skills like initiative, emotional intelligence, and excellent communication to lead captures and proposals independently.
Designs and operates satellite constellations
