Responsibilities

  • Align commercial activities with business unit objectives by prospecting, developing, and managing new business to generate revenue
  • Drive business development by converting prospects into clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and developing client/partner referrals
  • Generate new business and foster relationships with current clients
  • Ensure sales indicators are exceeded and well-documented
  • Collaborate with team members and leaders to improve customer experience
  • Master the product portfolio to articulate value through presentations and proposals, ensuring solutions and services align with client needs
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate profitable business development and lasting relationships to close deals effectively
  • Resolve concerns and requests from potential clients throughout the sales process to promote a positive customer experience
  • Plan and manage a sales territory in accordance with an agreed sales strategy
  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and client/prospect contacts to achieve agreed business objectives, including costs and sales—particularly managing personal time and productivity to consistently meet annual sales targets
  • Participate in and make presentations at external client meetings, conferences, trade shows, and internal company meetings to support business development
  • Maintain and develop existing and new clientele through appropriate proposals and ethical sales methods to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market and competitor activities, report on them, and provide relevant reports and information
  • Perform other tasks as needed
