Candidates should have a BA/BS or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B. A proven record of success in an inside sales-based selling model, the ability to develop trusted relationships, and post-sale revenue expansion experience are preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, online collaboration tools, and CRM systems like Salesforce.com, along with the ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting, are essential.
The Commercial Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for existing strategic mid-size accounts, focusing on maximizing renewals and expansion. They will collaborate with Customer Success and other sales members to maintain and expand the customer revenue base, drive product adoption, ensure customer retention, and lead upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Responsibilities include researching accounts, generating interest, obtaining business requirements, maintaining accurate forecasts and sales reports, coordinating internal resources to solve client issues, and executing service agreements, with periodic travel to client onsite visits.
