Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or client success, preferably within SaaS or fintech. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets, experience managing a book of business or client portfolio, and proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, G Suite, and AI tools are required. Solid reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional communication skills are also necessary. Bonus points are given for experience in the payments or fintech ecosystem, a background in contract negotiation and renewals, and being a strategic thinker who has contributed to process or go-to-market improvements.
The Relationship Manager will manage and grow an existing book of business by deepening client relationships and increasing revenue streams. This involves understanding client business models, identifying pain points, and offering solutions through Dwolla's platform to meet retention and revenue growth targets, including cross-sell, upsell, and expansion. Responsibilities include conducting strategic business reviews, mapping future-state opportunities, communicating new product capabilities, leveraging technology for efficiency, channeling client feedback to Product and Engineering teams, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure client success.
