Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Account Management, preferably at a company with over $30 million in revenue. Proven success in growing large, complex accounts and exceeding revenue targets is essential. Experience with outbound prospecting, navigating complex organizations with multiple stakeholders, and a strong executive presence are required. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking abilities are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Growth Account Manager will lead and execute strategies to expand a portfolio of high-potential accounts, partnering with Customer Success Managers and Marketing to develop retention and growth plans. Responsibilities include meeting quarterly expansion targets, mapping growth potential accounts, identifying and engaging new buyer centers, and building consultative relationships with senior decision-makers. The role involves leading renewal conversations, using data to time outreach, conducting sales qualification calls and demos, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate CRM data. The Account Manager will also advocate for customer needs and the overall health of the relationship with Appcues.
