Candidates should have a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years of successful software sales experience, preferably in B2B, is required. Familiarity with consultative, solution-based sales methodologies is essential, along with a proven record of success in sales.
The Account Executive will follow up and qualify new prospects from inbound leads or customer requests generated by marketing. They will develop prospecting plans for territory development, research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and gather business requirements. Maintaining accurate forecasts and providing sales management with reports on sales activities is necessary. The role includes increasing knowledge of competitors, managing leads and opportunities within HubSpot, achieving monthly and quarterly targets, and obtaining repeat business through relationship building and effective communication.
