Candidates should have 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B, and a proven record of success in an inside sales-based selling model. Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology, post-sale revenue expansion, proficiency with Microsoft Office products and online collaboration tools, and experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com are desired. Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting is also required.
The Commercial Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for existing strategic mid-size accounts, leveraging product knowledge to maximize renewals and expansion. They will collaborate with Customer Success and other Sales members to maintain and expand customer revenue, drive product adoption, ensure customer retention, and lead upsells and cross-sells. Responsibilities include researching accounts, identifying key champions, generating interest, obtaining business requirements, maintaining accurate forecasts and sales reports, pursuing competitor knowledge, managing leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com, achieving targets, coordinating internal resources to solve client issues, executing service agreements, and performing periodic travel to client onsite visits.
