Candidates should have 2+ years of technology SaaS experience, experience selling to procurement, finance, and legal sectors, and experience driving customer retention and adoption of a SaaS product for enterprise accounts. Strong customer management skills, including sales, account management, and customer service, are required. Self-driven individuals who are organized, efficient with their time, and excellent communicators are preferred. Experience using tools like Salesforce, Clari, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach is also necessary.
The Commercial Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor and product consultant, working with customers to deliver ROI through value-based renewal and upsell cycles. They will partner with the Customer Success team to monitor health scorecards and guide deal closures. The role involves negotiating renewal contracts, developing win/win strategies, and managing current customers on multi-year contracts to ensure value realization. Additionally, the manager will engage the broader Zip team for regular updates on renewal status and contribute to shaping the sales process in a rapidly growing environment.
