Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have over 3 years of customer service experience, specifically assisting patients in a healthcare setting. Experience in a high-volume Contact Center environment is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication tools. Responsibilities

The Customer Care Advocate will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound calls, investigating patient insurance, estimating benefit coverage and out-of-pocket costs, and discussing patient responsibilities and payment options. This includes making outbound calls to patients, documenting all activities in the customer support system, and maintaining patient data confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA. The role also involves meeting productivity metrics, troubleshooting customer issues, processing order fulfillment, and providing information to internal and external customers while maintaining a positive attitude.
