Candidates must possess the ability to provide an integrated MolDx/SaaS solution using Tempus’s sequencing technology, engage in consultative selling, and comfortably sell at the executive level. A keen understanding of the payor and reimbursement environment in oncology and diagnostics, along with strong organizational and communication skills, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com is required, as is the ability to travel frequently (>50%) within the territory.
The Clinical Account Executive will drive strategic business expansion and collaboration opportunities with major U.S. cancer centers, clinics, Key Opinion Leaders, and Academic Medical Centers. Responsibilities include structuring strategic plans for client acquisition and retention, maximizing client-bill contracting, implementing laboratory services agreements, and coordinating with sales positions to achieve company goals. The role involves identifying partnering opportunities, promoting web-based molecular information tools, analyzing the competitive landscape, monitoring sales performance, developing territory business plans, and working effectively across multiple departments within Tempus.
