Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 10 years of experience in solution architecture, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in healthcare technology. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Proven experience designing and implementing solutions in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, life sciences, or government is essential. Expertise in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a deep understanding of AI tools and implementations are necessary. Strong knowledge of modern software tools, including data and integration platforms, DevOps and orchestration tools, and healthcare standards and APIs like HL7 and FHIR, is also required. Exceptional communication skills and familiarity with generative AI ecosystems are expected.

Responsibilities

The Principal Solutions Architect will collaborate with product management and business leaders to translate business goals into scalable, compliant solution designs. They will design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure, focusing on healthcare workflows, patient experience, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA, CMS, and HITECH. This role involves serving as the technical leader for healthcare technology implementations, guiding engineering teams, and evaluating/recommending cloud services, AI frameworks, and modern software tools. The architect will ensure security, interoperability, and compliance with industry standards, act as a thought partner to product teams, develop solution roadmaps and blueprints, and mentor engineers and architects.
