Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in molecular diagnostics, life sciences, or another healthcare field is required; a graduate degree in life sciences or an MBA is strongly preferred. Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in healthcare or life sciences, with expertise in product management, specifically in molecular diagnostics. Strong business intuition, proficiency in market analysis and customer research, and the ability to translate customer feedback into product improvements are essential. Experience working in a global, matrixed environment and proficiency with phase gate processes and project management tools are also required. Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Product Manager will manage the entire product/service lifecycle for post-transplant monitoring products, from launch to discontinuation. This includes developing and executing go-to-market strategies, preparing commercial launch packages, and training sales and Medical Science Liaison teams. Responsibilities also involve devising marketing plans, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders, and translating health economics into marketing tactics. The role requires close collaboration with R&D, Project Management, Manufacturing/Operations, and Finance to ensure profitable growth and resolve quality issues. Regular monthly updates on progress against objectives and critical initiatives must be provided to leadership.
