Candidates must possess strong genomics, healthcare, and informatics technical knowledge and expertise. Experience in selling Next Generation Sequencing and Genomic data analysis pipelines, applications, and products for clinical research or testing is required. The role demands the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives, Laboratory Directors, Healthcare practitioners, IT leaders, and data analysts. Familiarity with data visualization, data science including AI and Machine Learning, cloud-based workflows and pipelines, LIMS, and NGS data analysis in a clinical environment is essential. Experience with oncology research & testing data analysis, management, sharing, storage, and reporting is also necessary. The ability to consult on informatics requirements, including hardware and software for data analysis, and provide proof-of-concept analysis is crucial. Partnering with third-party providers and working closely with sales teams, particularly Healthcare Account Management, is expected.
The Senior Clinical Informatics Sales Specialist will drive customer adoption and sales growth of informatics products by providing technical guidance and subject matter expertise during the sales cycle. Responsibilities include demonstrating expertise in areas such as data visualization, data science, AI, machine learning, rare disease testing, reproductive health, cloud-based workflows, LIMS, and NGS data analysis in clinical settings. The specialist will consult with customers on informatics requirements, conduct proof-of-concept analyses, and partner with third-party providers to offer end-to-end solutions. They will collaborate with sales teams to ensure customer success in clinical genomic data analysis and interpretation. Additionally, the role involves developing and conducting informatics presentations and seminars, providing engaging demonstrations, and involving technical support for in-depth customer assessments. The specialist will also provide Voice of Customer feedback to development and marketing teams, act as a sub-regional subject matter expert for Clinical Informatics, and train the broader sales organization. A key responsibility is to assist customers in overcoming informatics barriers to unlock sample volume and drive consumables uptake, thereby growing the sales pipeline.
