Business Development Representative
Alloy Automation- Full Time
- Junior (1 to 2 years)
Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). We are seeking early members for our Business Development team to drive growth and success. Your primary role will be to generate interest in Aleph and engage prospects to initiate software evaluations. This involves a multi-channel outreach strategy, primarily cold calls and emails, to convert leads into qualified sales opportunities. You will be provided with a robust process, modern software tools, and mentorship from experienced Account Executives.
Aleph operates in a substantial software market with no clear leader. Our growth is driven by product innovation and customer success, rather than marketing expenditure. Founded by technical experts from Stanford and MIT with experience at Google, Microsoft, and Bain & Company, Aleph is backed by prominent VCs including Bain Capital Ventures, Khosla Ventures, YC, and Picus Capital. Our clients include companies like Webflow, Turo, Notion, and Zapier.
We have developed a seamless platform for centralizing financial data from sources like Quickbooks, Netsuite, and Salesforce into tools finance teams already use. Our long-term vision is to leverage AI to automate reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting through intelligent agents, creating an always-on decision layer for modern businesses. We are a fast-paced company, continuously releasing new features and applying AI across all aspects of our operations, from product development to sales and support. We boast low churn, strong growth, and accelerating momentum. We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).
Enhances spreadsheets for financial planning teams
Aleph enhances the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process by improving the functionality of spreadsheets, which are widely used by finance teams. Instead of replacing Excel with new web-based tools, Aleph integrates advanced features into the familiar spreadsheet environment. This allows finance professionals to continue using a tool they are comfortable with while gaining access to real-time data integration, automated reporting, and collaborative capabilities. Unlike traditional FP&A solutions that require users to learn new systems, Aleph's approach minimizes the learning curve and maximizes productivity. The company operates on a subscription-based model, providing continuous updates and improvements to its software, which helps finance teams streamline their budgeting and forecasting tasks. Aleph's goal is to empower finance teams to work more efficiently and effectively by supercharging the spreadsheets they already rely on.
