Resource Innovations is seeking an Outreach Manager to join their growing team in New Jersey. This role supports the implementation of residential multifamily energy efficiency programs in a dynamic environment. The Outreach Manager will build partnerships, collaborate with local partners, coordinate field operations, and ensure program goal attainment. They will engage with program subcontractor partners and utility clients to plan and adapt program delivery, fostering relationships with property ownership, management groups, trade organizations, and market partners to secure a pipeline of energy efficiency projects. The position requires motivating and leading a team of outreach professionals and collaborating strategically with partners to provide recommendations and solutions in response to evolving program directives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in energy-efficiency outreach or sales.
  • Multifamily program experience is preferred.
  • Previous management experience leading outreach professionals.
  • Proven success in engaging multifamily property owners, property management, service providers, and contractors.
  • Ability to take full responsibility for projects from inception to close.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • New Jersey residency required.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, manages, and fosters partnerships with multifamily property managers, property owners, stakeholders, subcontractors, and other industry affiliates.
  • Responsible for lead generation into the multifamily program based on program guidelines, making referrals to other programs when necessary.
  • Develops and executes short- and long-term outreach and collaboration plans to effectively execute the program delivery strategy and support program goal achievement.
  • Monitors program participation and forecasts in a production, goal-oriented environment.
  • Interprets program guidelines and incentive participation pathways, providing ongoing support to contractors, including guidance on local building regulations and opportunities for building operator certification trainings.
  • Leads ad hoc meetings/calls with internal teams, partners, and utility clients regarding production planning, outreach activities, successes, challenges, and requests for support.
  • Delivers presentations and communicates program offerings, tailoring messaging to various stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
