Essential skills include excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, proficiency with tools like Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Navigator, and Zoom Info, and a proven track record of exceeding targets. The role requires independence, self-motivation, success-driven ambition, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and resilience in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must also be authorized to work and reside in the United States and successfully complete a criminal background investigation.
The Business Development Representative will serve as the primary contact for all inbound leads, partner leads, and event leads to drive growth. Key responsibilities include qualifying inbound leads to schedule demos or technical scoping sessions, collaborating with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Account Managers, and Growth Marketing teams. This role involves engaging with leads to understand their needs and assess fit for SpecterOps products, developing and executing event lead campaigns, and maintaining a sales-level understanding of SpecterOps products, services, training, and market trends. Representatives will manage accurate records in Salesforce, transition qualified leads to Account Executives, and work with Regional Directors on outbound account targets. They will also provide weekly metrics and status updates on leads, demos, and pipeline, and collaborate with the channel community on qualifying leads and co-sell efforts.
