Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience as a Strategic Account Manager or in a similar role, with proven work experience managing key accounts ranging from $100k to $1M ARR. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments. Strong listening and selling skills, a passion for discussing strategic terms, and the demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical deliverables are also required. The ability to manage multiple decision-makers and customer account plans simultaneously is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Account Manager will build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with multiple client decision-makers, acting as a strategic advisor by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of Boulevard’s products and customer business goals to upsell to existing strategic accounts. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for strategic, commercial, and renewal term discussions, developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue expansion targets and maximize client lifetime value. Responsibilities also include negotiating contract renewals with price increases and expansion products, developing comprehensive account plans outlining growth opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with client needs.
