Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in Sales or Applications Engineering, with prior experience in direct and/or distributor sales of Automation products such as Controllers, PLCs, Motors, Actuators, Cylinders, Drives, Sensors, Regulators, and/or Robotics. They should also demonstrate the ability to serve general Industrial clients and work effectively from a home office while being able to travel as needed.
The Sales Account Manager will develop and maintain strong client relationships with OEM customers, ensuring products are specified to maximize revenue and margin. They will maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of group/divisional products, stay updated on training and development, obtain specifications and approvals, develop response strategies, assist in planning sales strategy, provide product training, motivate distributors, and keep management informed of market changes.
