Requirements

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise tech, professional services sales, or renewals. Experience selling to and influencing C-level and C-1 executives at Global 1000 companies on six-to-eight-figure opportunities is required, with a preference for those with CHRO and Talent-focused experience. The ideal candidate should also have experience selling into a new market or new technology that disrupts an existing marketplace.

Responsibilities

Account Managers will partner with Strategic Account Managers to prospect and generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities through relationship building and value realization within BetterUp's existing customer base. They will negotiate and manage renewals, focusing on maximizing customer spend and contract term length. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product updates is essential to guide engagement strategies and identify new business opportunities. Account Managers will effectively leverage cross-functional resources to identify, develop, and win expansion opportunities, engage with C-level contacts to position BetterUp's strategic value proposition during the renewal cycle, and maintain accurate records of opportunities, customer interactions, and contract details in Salesforce. They will also provide accurate forecasts and monthly reports to the sales manager to communicate the health of the sales pipeline, significant market trends, and potential risks.
