Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role for enterprise software or SaaS companies, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Proven success selling complex solution suites like ERP or Quote to Cash is desired, as is experience selling into large enterprise customers in the Life Sciences or High Tech industries. Challenger sales experience, leveraging a provocative method to inspire customer change and acting as a trusted advisor, is essential. The ability to effectively drive the sales process through various communication channels and strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required. Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the ability to travel approximately 25-50% are also necessary qualifications.
The Global Account Manager is responsible for prospecting and closing new business within Model N's top customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and managing a portfolio of accounts. Key duties include building and executing sales strategies, demonstrating product and industry knowledge, and cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders. The GAM will organize and leverage internal teams to drive discovery and deliver value propositions, own joint strategic plans and quarterly business reviews, and serve as a customer advocate within Model N. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce, meeting sales quotas, and generating new leads through upselling and cross-selling.
