Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, coupled with at least 2 years of experience in renewal management, account management, customer success, or sales. Prior experience in B2B SaaS, subscription-based services, or the events/ticketing industry is preferred, as is a proven track record of managing high-volume customer portfolios. Proficiency with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot, marketing automation tools such as Marketo or Mailchimp, and customer success platforms like Gainsight or ChurnZero is required. Familiarity with ticketing systems and event management software, strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis, and experience with email automation and drip campaign tools are also necessary. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong negotiation and closing skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, a data-driven mindset with analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, a customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills, detail-orientation with strong organizational capabilities, and self-motivation with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

The Renewal Specialist will manage and execute renewal processes for a high-volume portfolio of event ticketing clients, proactively engaging customers 90-180 days prior to contract expiration. They will generate accurate renewal forecasts, maintain a rolling 120-day renewal pipeline, and conduct renewal negotiations to secure contract extensions with minimal manual intervention. Responsibilities include identifying and mitigating renewal risks through data-driven insights, implementing and optimizing automated renewal workflows using CRM and marketing automation platforms, and designing and executing multi-channel outreach campaigns. The specialist will leverage automation tools for personalized renewal reminders and follow-up sequences, utilize AI-powered tools to predict churn risk, and create/maintain automated renewal templates. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns, and collaborating with internal teams for a seamless customer experience are also key duties. Additionally, they will track and analyze key renewal metrics, monitor customer engagement, generate reports on renewal performance, and identify expansion opportunities during the renewal process, collaborating with sales teams on larger opportunities and promoting new features or service packages.
