The Account Manager is responsible for growing revenue and margin by retaining targeted customers within an assigned territory. This involves communicating BJ's B2B business model and value to clients, connecting with them virtually or in person to understand their needs and increase sales, and collecting and analyzing client data to discern behavior. The role includes building client relationships to maintain and expand business categories, collaborating with internal departments to fulfill client needs, and maintaining accurate customer records. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining deep knowledge of BJ's products and services, resolving client complaints, preventing issues by improving processes, and staying aware of market and competitor activities to make recommendations to management. The Account Manager must deliver revenue and margin growth within their territory and utilize economical means for travel and meeting costs in compliance with company policies.
