Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with an advanced degree being preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role is required, demonstrating a proven ability to close new business and manage client relationships. Recent sales experience within a financial services vendor company, preferably with a marketing discipline, is necessary. Experience with multi-channel marketing disciplines and 1-3 years of proficiency in Marketing, Media, and Advertising are also essential. Key skills include selling through compelling vision or storytelling, utilizing data and insights as a selling tool, prospecting and new business development, managing client relationships, selling multiple/integrated product campaigns, understanding client markets and strategic needs, and proficiency in problem resolution, overcoming objections, initiative, conceptual selling, presentation delivery, negotiation, and innovation. Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, emotional and cognitive intelligence, and the ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products/services are critical. Adaptability to change and the ability to deliver high-impact presentations are also required, along with a consistent track record of exceeding annual quotas.
The Account Executive III is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets and profitability objectives from both existing accounts and new client prospects. This includes meeting with clients and prospects to identify opportunities, turning leads into long-lasting partnerships, and consulting with clients on business issues and marketing program design. The role involves understanding client needs, negotiating costs and services, resolving sales or delivery issues, and working with Strategists and Delivery Teams to execute project specifications and deliver quality results. Responsibilities also include developing insightful proposals, delivering strategic sales presentations, managing contracts, identifying up-sell/cross-sell opportunities, meeting in person with clients and prospects, and engaging in high-level prospecting activities such as lead generation, qualifying prospects, discovery, and demonstrating solutions. The Account Executive will manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities and selling with data and insights.
