Candidates must possess at least 15 years of account management experience in wood and/or metal manufacturing or consumer environments, with a minimum of 10 years leading project management teams in large manufacturing companies. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and an understanding of ERP fundamentals are required. Expertise in architectural/interior design and a proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar accounts and large programs from concept to completion are essential. Strong organizational skills, a team player mentality, and unparalleled customer service focus are critical.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive is responsible for the successful execution of assigned accounts, managing larger and more complex customer accounts, and potentially overseeing junior project management associates. Key duties include coordinating customer design definitions, value engineering, internal manufacturing coordination, delivery, installation, and ongoing customer service. The role involves growing customer account value through strategic planning, acquiring new business, defining project expectations for support teams, and reviewing value engineering opportunities. Responsibilities also include ensuring products meet customer specifications, developing project timelines, coordinating with master schedulers and purchasing departments, monitoring production, leading gross margin improvement initiatives, managing inventory, facilitating outsourcing when necessary, providing technical backup, performing postmortems on projects, and managing cost of quality.
