Candidates must possess over 10 years of field sales experience, consistently exceeding sales objectives while selling technical solutions and software products to the enterprise market. Experience selling within the Retail CPG space is essential, along with demonstrable experience executing complex enterprise sales strategies in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or AI/ML. Familiarity with a solution-based selling approach, managing complex sales processes, and strong presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills are required. The ability to build the product and company as if it were your own, execute sales plans to meet targets, and leverage industry knowledge is crucial. Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships and a track record of hitting multi-million dollar revenue targets annually are necessary. Employees must adhere to company confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
The Account Executive will become an expert on Snowflake's product, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers. They will act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer roadmaps to drive Snowflake solutions, prospect for new sales opportunities, and develop ongoing revenue streams. The role involves landing, adopting, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities within assigned accounts and achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing territory-specific sales strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance, is a key aspect of the role.
