Candidates must have 6+ years of sales experience selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives. Demonstrable experience executing complex enterprise sales strategies in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML is required, along with familiarity with solution-based selling, managing complex sales processes, and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills. The ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships and a history of hitting multi-million dollar annual revenue targets are essential. Employees are expected to adhere to company confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
The Account Executive will prospect for net new business and expand business within current customers, focusing on understanding client requirements to drive the Snowflake solution. Responsibilities include conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations, acting as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their IT roadmaps, and developing new sales opportunities and revenue streams. The role involves landing, adopting, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities, achieving sales quotas, and developing sales strategies with target prospect lists and regional sales plans. The Account Executive will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.
