Candidates must have experience selling to business and technology stakeholders, including C-suite, SVP, and VP-level decision-makers. They should be adept at independent prospecting, researching, developing, and closing business, with a focus on understanding and solving prospect business pain points. Experience in landing, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities is necessary, along with the ability to partner effectively with Customer Success Managers.
The Corporate Account Executive will drive strategic data sales by identifying and pursuing outbound opportunities through deep research and developing outbound sales strategies. They will assess inbound and SDR leads, understand use cases, and develop strategies to target new sales opportunities. Responsibilities include meeting or exceeding sales quotas, cultivating customer relationships, building a sales pipeline, positioning Crunchbase's value proposition against competitors, and identifying upsell opportunities with existing accounts. The role also involves collaborating with Sales Engineers on data trials, partnering with SDRs on ABM strategies, ensuring smooth hand-offs from qualification to closure, and working with Customer Success for prospect onboarding.
