Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in software engineering or technical pre-sales, specifically within the Business Intelligence (BI) or predictive analytics solutions space. They should have experience with big data technologies, data modeling, and some knowledge of machine learning, including proficiency in R/Python, SQL, or Spark. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and polished presentation skills.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Engineer will serve as the primary client-facing technical resource during sales cycles, eliminating technical objections and building rapport with prospects. They will deliver in-depth technical product demos, design relevant use cases, create architectural overviews, and successfully manage post-sales engagements, including scope management and enhancing customer relationships. Additionally, the role involves researching and documenting competitor offerings and positioning Tellius’ differentiation, and proactively communicating timelines when necessary.
