Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in strategic cross-departmental analytics and 2+ years of SaaS experience working in a data role. They should possess 2+ years of experience analyzing data using SQL and Python, along with proficiency in a visualization tool. Experience with Snowflake AI & ML studio, Hubspot, Salesforce, and Stripe is preferred. Advanced understanding of data visualization principles and experience navigating a fast-paced, dynamic working environment are also required. The candidate must be comfortable challenging requirements and communicating technical results to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Engineer will support a data-driven culture by developing data analyses to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and automate work. Responsibilities include defining and operationalizing company-wide KPIs, identifying patterns, and recommending actionable insights for product development and business growth. The role involves building meaningful dashboards, proactively understanding business challenges, testing hypotheses, and developing solutions leveraging Generative AI and LLMs. The engineer will pull, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources using tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Looker and SQL. They will design, architect, and develop data solutions, influence data strategies and roadmaps, and build efficient data solutions and scalable data model plans. Additionally, the role requires interfacing with data infrastructure, product, and engineering teams to build ETL and report generation frameworks, and delivering analytical results to various audiences.
