Candidates must have experience selling to business and technology stakeholders, including C-suite, SVP, and VP-level decision-makers. Experience in independent prospecting, researching, developing, and closing business is essential. The role requires the ability to connect solutions to prospect business needs and drive strategic data sales for an industry-leading organization. Familiarity with building a pipeline of 2.5x annual sales quota within the first 6 months and maintaining it is necessary. Collaboration with SEs on Data Trials/POCs and partnering with SDRs on ABM strategies for key target accounts are also required.
The Account Executive will drive strategic data sales by independently prospecting, researching, developing, and closing business, focusing on solving prospect business pain points and key challenges with strategic insights. They will land, expand, and deepen sales opportunities through partnership with Customer Success Managers. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing outbound opportunities, developing and executing outbound sales and prospecting strategies, assessing inbound and SDR leads, and meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas. The role involves cultivating enduring customer relationships, positioning Crunchbase's value proposition against competitors, identifying upsell opportunities with existing accounts, and collaborating cross-departmentally with Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success.
