Job Description

Xplor Pay is seeking an Account Executive, Outside Sales to join our team in Friendswood, TX. In this role, you will make a tangible impact by enriching our customers' experiences through every conversation, line of code, and interface design.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with small to medium-sized business owners.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Xplor Pay colleagues in Customer Service, Underwriting, IT, Sales Support, and other departments to ensure seamless onboarding of new businesses.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage your sales pipeline and daily tasks/appointments using Salesforce.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare compelling presentations and proposals using Xplor Pay’s electronic applications.
  • Closing Sales: Drive sales of our payment processing and SaaS services to meet and exceed targets.

Compensation: This position offers health benefits, 401K match, and operates on a commission-only residual model with a portfolio ownership component.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience (preferred).
  • Valid current driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to self-source leads through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking, demonstrating a true hunter mentality.
