Candidates must be highly motivated, results-driven, and based in the Central Region (Chicago, IL). A split of cross-sell/upsell and net new business acquisition experience is required, along with the ability to develop multi-year account and territory plans. Proven success in building trusted relationships with C-suite executives (CxOs, CCOs, CAOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, EVPs, SVPs) and understanding their strategic objectives is essential. Experience in solution-centric sales, collaborating with advisory firms, and identifying impactful integrations is expected. The role requires 25-30% travel for client, partner, and event meetings.
The Strategic Account Executive will manage and expand relationships with high-revenue clients ($15B+ in revenue), focusing on both new business and high-touch expansions. Responsibilities include executing full-cycle sales, territory planning, pipeline generation, and closing opportunities within a dedicated territory of named accounts. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (CS, Alliances, Product, Engineering) to align sales motions with client business needs, selling AuditBoard products to large public and private organizations, and identifying prospective customers' pain points. Additionally, the executive will educate clients on AuditBoard's value, demonstrate the product, guide prospects through the sales process, and co-create solutions and business cases to drive adoption.
