Requirements

Candidates must have 2-4 years of experience in a media agency, media owner, data provider, or adtech platform, with experience in the programmatic landscape including media trading, data sales, or media buying. Established contacts with agency holding company traders and a strong understanding of media planning, buying processes, audience data, and digital ad operations are required. A BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and experience using DSPs, onboarding platforms, or audience tools are a strong plus. The role also requires a willingness to travel within NYC for face-to-face meetings approximately 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will be responsible for expanding NielsenIQ’s footprint within the media agency space by engaging with media agencies and developing strategic sales plans to increase revenue through NIQ Data-as-a-Service solutions. This includes driving and developing client relationships, optimizing client investments, and helping agencies utilize NIQ’s data for improved audience targeting, planning, and campaign measurement. Key duties involve prospecting, networking, developing new business opportunities, evangelizing NIQ data assets, understanding client needs, tailoring solutions, generating sales leads, maintaining a sales pipeline, assisting with sales materials and presentations, maintaining CRM data, acting as a liaison between teams, and staying current with industry trends.
