Candidates must possess a BA/BS degree and have at least 3 years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technology. A minimum of 5 years of experience generating new business within Enterprise accounts is required, along with a proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships. Experience hitting an $800k+ ARR quota annually and averaging 8+ face-to-face meetings per week is preferred. Strong skills in determining customer requirements, presenting solutions, communication, presentation, relationship management, and executive-level relationship management are essential. Fluency in German is required. Experience with MEDDPICC and selling software or cloud-based applications to the Enterprise is a plus.
The Account Executive will achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing sales strategies and target prospect lists within their allocated territory. They will collaborate with the marketing team on marketing plans to drive revenue growth and serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their IT roadmaps to promote Snowflake solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, developing new sales opportunities, arranging and conducting executive discussions, managing the sales process to closure, and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing account management to drive additional revenue.
