Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree, with a minimum of two years of recent field sales experience and two years of relationship management experience. Proven success in field prospecting, managing at least 50 prospective customers, and strong negotiation and closing skills are required. Familiarity with technology solutions and carrier services within the e-commerce and shipping industry is also necessary.
The Account Executive will be responsible for increasing the customer base in their assigned territory through outbound prospecting and developing lead sources and channel partnerships. They will grow their assigned book of business by annually increasing portfolio revenue through new logo acquisition and strategic planning for top customers. The role involves limiting managed account churn by developing multi-layered solutions and leveraging field presence, collaborating with internal teams, and building strong external relationships. Additionally, the Account Executive will act as an industry expert, advising customers on news, innovations, trends, and best practices, while also being a product expert and communicating the value of new products and features.
