Requirements

Candidates must have at least 4 years of progressive SaaS software sales experience, including 1-2 years as a Sales Development Representative and 1 year selling to Commercial/Mid-Market accounts as well as 1 year selling to Enterprise accounts. Experience selling to developers and engineers is required, along with a proven track record of closing business and exceeding targets. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills are necessary, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-evolving, entrepreneurial environment and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with AI/ML or cloud infrastructure space and experience selling complex enterprise solutions are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will drive new business opportunities by selling Union software and services engagements and develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting assigned customers or territory. They will develop deep expertise in Union.ai’s offerings and effectively communicate the value proposition to prospective clients while focusing on pipeline generation. The role involves leveraging Channel and Alliance partnerships to uncover new opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to contract close, and meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets. Regular updates on sales activities, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and traveling up to 40% for client presentations and relationship-building are also key responsibilities.
