Candidates must have an equivalent combination of education and 5 years of relevant waste or industry experience, with a minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role. A proven track record of generating new business opportunities in the Environmental Field, strong technical expertise with an extensive understanding of environmental solutions and regulatory compliance, excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. A valid Driver's License and the ability to meet with clients and attend industry events are also necessary.
The Territory Sales Executive will deliver profitable revenue to their assigned geography by developing and maintaining relationships with various clientele to drive customer success. Responsibilities include both new sales and retention of existing accounts, meeting with clients to introduce service offerings and discover opportunities for expansion, and managing service lines such as Industrial Services, Field Services, Emergency Response, Site Remediation, and Waste Transportation and Disposal. The role involves building and maintaining a sales funnel, creating account plans for top accounts, utilizing CRM daily, developing an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends, maintaining knowledge of company services and pricing, and completing required paperwork in a timely manner. Weekly travel, with overnight travel as required, is part of the job.
