Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years of technical and/or sales experience is required, along with intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with AutoCAD, PLC control systems, ladder logic programming, electrical control panel drawings (including MCC, across-the-line, VFD), water and wastewater industry instrumentation, electrical integration practices, and troubleshooting is essential. The ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms with diverse audiences is also necessary. Project management experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will provide application-specific product recommendations, technical support, and sales quotation assistance for Smart Cover Instrumentation products. They will conduct site surveys at customer locations to assess needs for SCADA automation/control system integration and estimate requirements for proposed control systems. Responsibilities include providing customers' process details for algorithm creation, maintaining survey records, and supporting the company installation department and contractors during project implementation. The role involves up to 50% travel to support customers and the business.
