The Opportunity

This position is within the Neuromodulation Division, which focuses on implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people suffering from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies provide interventional pain management.


Purpose of the Job

The Territory Manager will be accountable for managing their territory independently in all aspects. This includes:

  • Leveraging the Neuromodulation (NMD) products portfolio to maximize revenues and market share growth.
  • Ensuring Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management.
  • Providing technical support for Neuromodulation procedures, programming, patient follow-ups, and any device-related issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sales Achievement: Achieve sales quota per plan by servicing the current customer base, increasing sales volume, and establishing new accounts.
  • Sales Planning: Implement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establishment of new accounts.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a good understanding of therapies and products.
  • Reporting & Administration: Prepare reports, perform basic analysis, and complete administrative sales duties (e.g., expense reports, scheduling, travel plans).
  • Business Operations: Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies regarding pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting, and quality guidelines.
  • Best Practices: Follow and share best practices guidelines before and after sales calls.
  • Competitive Awareness: Develop knowledge and awareness of competitor products.
  • Company Representation: Act as a Company ambassador, representing the Company professionally and with integrity when interacting with customers, institutions, physicians, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Territory Planning: Proactively plan weekly travel schedules and communicate them through appropriate channels.
  • Account Management: Apply the company's Account Profiling system, ensuring incorporation of key information for accounts (people, behavioral styles, product volume, competitors, local politics, decision structure, needs, history, call frequency).
  • Compliance: Comply with Healthcare Professional (HCP) guidelines.

Note: Supervision and initiative received may differ for Sales Representative and Senior Sales Representative positions.


Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of Neuromodulation (or similar) product lines.
  • Acquire a fair understanding of the business, financials, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of successful sales experience within the medical device industry.
  • Well-organized and accustomed to managing a territory.
