As an Inside Sales Specialist at Colibri, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers, guiding them through our offerings and the purchasing process. This fast-paced, phone-based role involves handling a high volume of calls daily, engaging with customers at all stages of their journey, and working to retain business by addressing cancellation or refund requests. Your success in this role directly contributes to revenue growth and customer satisfaction through confident communication, objection handling, and adaptability.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential and current customers, clearly explaining products, pricing, and payment options.
  • Close sales, enter orders, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Follow up on leads, incomplete transactions, and interested customers.
  • Engage with customers requesting cancellations or refunds to retain sales.
  • Utilize a value-based approach to handle objections and guide customers to positive outcomes.
  • Maintain consistent daily call volume with a focus on professionalism and performance.
  • Accurately log all customer interactions and outcomes in Salesforce.
  • Leverage real-time AI sales tools to support conversations and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in regular coaching sessions, as all calls are recorded and may be monitored.
  • Collaborate with teammates and leadership to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Support other team or department tasks as needed.

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • At least one year of experience in inside sales, customer enrollment, or a similar role focused on closing sales and customer engagement.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence on the phone and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Experience managing objections and retaining customers who are hesitant or seeking to cancel.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and tailor your approach to each conversation.
  • Comfort working with tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and other common platforms.
  • Strong organization and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple priorities.
  • Resilience and adaptability, with comfort in handling change, feedback, and continuous growth.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (includes two 15-minute breaks and a one-hour lunch)
