Requirements

Minimum 5 years functional experience, including a minimum of 3 years specific experience
May possess a four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field)
Strong technical knowledge and functional knowledge of technical information needed in the department
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to manage projects/processes
Experience coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals
Ability to provide solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters
Demonstrated creativity and ingenuity to champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives
Ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Customer focus with acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations
Ability to understand dependencies between stakeholders or departments

Responsibilities

Planning and overseeing enterprise-level support and service activities for company products and services for a designated client or group of clients
Ensuring quality service and operational performance within the parameters of program and delivery standards
Developing client relationships and understanding of client business and product installations to identify service needs
Planning service delivery and driving use of proactive service and support mechanisms to reduce client downtime and support costs
Acting as single point of client contact to coordinate resolution of service incidents and escalation of technical issues
Collaborating with sales and support groups to demonstrate value of support offering to client and identify opportunities for expanded support business
Providing a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in area of specialization
Determining work priorities based on general direction from managers
Regularly providing insight into streamlining processes, recommending enhancements, and troubleshooting unusual or complex issues for the department
Providing guidance to junior staff members
