Candidates must maintain all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions as necessary in states where the firm functions, or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment. They should be a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and possess a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry and underwriting criteria.
The Advisor will sell new accounts and renew existing accounts in alignment with firm and individual goals, building and maintaining relationships with clients, prospects, the service team, insurance company partners, and centers of influence. They will present proposals, communicate effectively, finalize sales, develop prospects through community involvement and networking, develop information and recommendations, maintain accuracy and timeliness, and positively represent the firm. Additionally, they are expected to meet monthly new business goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and bring issues to leadership's attention.
