We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager Lead to join our expanding customer success team. This role involves a player-coach dynamic, with approximately 70% dedicated to hands-on account management and 30% focused on team leadership. You will oversee a portfolio of high-profile enterprise clients, acting as their strategic advocate and collaborating with internal teams to address their evolving needs.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, Risk Management, or Solutions Architecture within B2B SaaS.
  • Domain Expertise: Experience in compliance, fintech, or AML/KYC.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with business intelligence tools.
  • Strategic Translation: Ability to transform complex strategies into actionable processes and tangible outcomes.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building and collaboration abilities.
  • Communication: Strong presentation skills, suitable for both virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Customer Facing Experience: Previous experience working directly with customers, preferably within a technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage an exclusive portfolio of high-profile enterprise customers, serving as the primary point of contact for both daily and strategic matters.
  • Team Leadership: Balance individual account ownership with team leadership duties, including mentoring and guiding the customer success team.
  • Business Development: Build and expand relationships with strategic accounts and resellers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as risk, fraud, compliance, payments, data science, and product.
  • Solution Delivery: Translate complex product and technology challenges into clear, actionable solutions and manage the solution process internally and externally.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide strategic analysis and critical thinking to support long-term expansion efforts.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Collaborate with Sardine's risk analytics teams to proactively address new fraud typologies and communicate findings to customers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Build, monitor, and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to clients.
