Position Overview

Apollo.io is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Director, Talent Management to oversee our global HR Business Partner function and Learning & Development efforts. This critical role is responsible for shaping the future of work at Apollo.io, designing for scale, efficiency, and culture in an era of generative AI transformation. You will partner closely with senior leaders to align people, performance, and culture with business objectives, serving as a strategic thought leader and operational driver for organizational design, leadership development, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop People Functions: Manage a globally-distributed team of HR Business Partners and L&D professionals, ensuring strategic alignment and consistent execution.
  • Strategic Advising: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership (C-Suite, SVPs), providing actionable insights on talent strategy, structure, and performance.
  • Organization Design for GenAI Efficiency: Drive initiatives to reimagine organizational design and workforce planning, leveraging GenAI to increase revenue per employee through more efficient, tech-empowered teams.
  • Future-Focused Learning & Development: Develop scalable, modern L&D programs for upskilling, continuous learning, and preparing leaders and teams for the evolving nature of work.
  • Culture at Scale: Build and sustain a high-performance culture as Apollo scales, defining cultural principles and rituals that reinforce company values in a distributed-first model.
  • Remote-First Excellence: Drive strategies to make Apollo's remote model a competitive advantage, maximizing inclusion, collaboration, and velocity while minimizing misalignment and disengagement.
  • Talent Strategy Execution: Partner with managers to implement career growth frameworks that nurture talent and adapt to business needs.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize engagement surveys, talent analytics, and benchmarks to design action plans and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Legal, Finance, and other People functions on employee relations, compliance, and headcount matters.
  • Organizational Readiness: Partner with senior leaders to ensure talent readiness for Apollo.io's ambitious 2025 product roadmap and beyond.
  • Change Leadership: Build trust with stakeholders, navigate ambiguity and complexity, and drive alignment and results.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • 5+ years in strategic HRBP roles supporting technology companies.
