Position Overview

  • About The Role: Mento is seeking senior leaders in HR roles to join our team as Mento coaches. These coaches will form 1:1 partnerships with members to help them identify and track goals, improve leadership skills, communicate effectively, solve workplace issues, and feel engaged and fulfilled. All coaches are required to complete an ICF-certified coach training program to learn Mento’s methodology.

Requirements

  • Experience: VP+ or C-suite human resources leader with 20+ years of experience managing HR teams and coaching individuals.
  • Coaching Certification: Preferred, but not required.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High emotional IQ and self-awareness.
  • Community Focus: Ability to create a safe space for vulnerability and empathy.
  • Growth Mindset: Excited about growing coaching skills and embracing a continuous learning approach.
  • Startup Environment: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Time Commitment: Minimum of 12+ hours per month dedicated to coaching for the next 24+ months.

Responsibilities

  • 1:1 Coaching: Provide 1:1 coaching sessions to Mento members through the Mento Platform and Tools.
  • Training Participation: Actively participate in ongoing training sessions to improve coaching abilities and skills.
  • Member Communication: Communicate with members via email or chat within the Mento App between sessions.
  • Community Contribution: Share coaching tools and insights to enhance Mento’s coaching practices and fulfill the company’s mission.
  • Ambassador Role: Act as an ambassador of the Mento community, demonstrating kindness, respect, and empathy.
