Requirements

Candidates should have experience selling across IT stakeholders, ideally combining Identity or cybersecurity experience with agentic technologies and/or data architecture or governance technologies. The role requires a consultative seller who understands how to discover mutual alignment between business value and technology solutions, can work across various personas within IT organizations, and develop strong relationships at all levels. Experience as a specialist sales executive in a dynamic, team-based, matrix selling environment is necessary, along with the ability to demonstrate expertise in understanding and presenting the value of SailPoint's Agentic Technology solutions. Candidates must be curious, able to synthesize information rapidly in a dynamic environment, and understand how to scale by empowering other account resources.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Account Executive will focus on selling Agentic related technology solutions, including Machine Identity Security, Data Access Security, and Agent Identity Security offerings, into large strategic accounts. This role involves supporting direct sellers, driving the adoption of innovative solutions, and providing a superior customer experience from discovery calls. Responsibilities include competitively positioning solutions and a broader value proposition, developing territory and opportunity plans, building internal programs and enablement for the sales organization, and working closely with the leadership team to refine ideas and optimize sales strategies. The executive will also exceed revenue quota goals and strategically engage with customers and business partners to maintain a high level of customer service.
