Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in technical studies with at least 1 year of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, or sales engineering. A comprehensive understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems is required, along with knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis. The ability to write and modify basic scripts in languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash is necessary, as is experience with virtualization/VDI technologies and large-scale cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. A proficient understanding of Active Directory and customer-facing experience, including comfort leading presentations, are also essential. Minimal travel may be required.

Responsibilities

The Corporate Sales Engineer will serve as an expert in the endpoint security space, including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, and firewalls. They will articulate basic security problems to various audiences and act as the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers. Responsibilities include conducting demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements, presenting technical concepts to diverse external audiences up to C-level executives, and collaborating effectively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams. The role requires strong self-starter abilities and effective time management and organizational skills.
