Requirements

The ideal candidate has built and deployed AI-driven workflows, such as tool-calling systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, or autonomous agentic orchestration using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph. They should possess over 5 years of software engineering experience in building and scaling end-to-end production systems, with strong knowledge of API design, system performance, and software architecture. Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, TypeScript, or Python, familiarity with frameworks like React, and experience with identity and access management systems (SCIM, OAuth2, SAML, or integrating with IDPs and HRIS tools) are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Identity Agent Engineer will lead the development of agent pipelines, design modular SDK components, drive production rigor, and support junior engineers. Responsibilities include architecting composable agent SDKs with built-in safety and robust fallback strategies, designing tracing tools and alert dashboards for agent performance and quality, and owning the agent lifecycle from chaining and testing to CI/CD and production rollout. The role involves collaborating with security and operations teams to ensure agent governance and auditability, mentoring teammates on observability and resilience best practices, and solving challenging technical problems across the stack to develop critical customer-facing features, including frontend (React, Typescript), communication layer (GraphQL, Apollo), and backend (Python, Flask, sqlalchemy).
